Learn about: · General Florida Growing information · Selecting the right fruits and vegetables for each season · Preparing your soil and watering regimen · Caring for and harvesting crops · Crop rotation and cover cropping · Managing pests and diseases organically · Tips for starting vegetables from seed At the end of the class, you'll get to take home a plant and a seasonal seeding guide to help start your own garden! Hospitable Harvests will also provide a Fresh Vegetable Plant Market to help you increase your gardens variety. Payments for additional plants can be taken via Venmo, Zelle, Paypal or cash. One starter plant is included in class ticket price. Registration includes admission to the beautiful Gardens before or after class.
